What big teeth you have, Ms. Pac-Man!

Everybody loves a good Ms. Pac-Man-inspired painting, right? Well, then everybody should love the following, which was produced by Madison, Wisconsin-based artist Ryan Grant Long.



Long's currently dating a friend of mine in Madison (my home town), by the way. What do you think are the chances I can get that friend to twist Long's arm and convince him to create something similarly fabulous for me (or, better yet, for this blog)?

Just in time for Halloween

Artist Ashley Anderson is a man after my own heart. I mean, we both like art and we both like video games. Oh, and we both like Pac-Man--as evidenced by this rather spooky piece:

This isn't the first time the Atlanta-based artist has been inspired by Tōru Iwatani's most famous creation. Early last year, for instance, he conjured up the following (titled, appropriately enough, "Cherry Ghost"):

Speaking of Pac-Man, the folks over at Namco-Bandai recently sent out a number of new screenshots of their upcoming PSN/XBLA release, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX. See them in all of their neon-hued glory here.

Yep, another t-shirt

I know, I know--I'm always pining for one gaming-related t-shirt or another, aren't I?

Well, you can take all of those other tees and toss them in the toilet (and flush it twice), because the one below is the real deal--or it would be if it were an actual t-shirt.



You see, it's just a t-shirt design at the moment--and unless it gets enough votes (over at threadless.com) that's all it'll ever be. (Unless the artist takes it to another t-shirt seller, of course.)

Although I'm pretty sure it'll successfully make the transition from design to shirt, I'm less sure it'll be available in white--which is all it would take for me to hand over my hard-earned cash.
