Say hello to the cutest piece of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer promo you'll ever see

Leave it to Nintendo to give us something we didn't know we needed or even wanted.

Granted, I'd prefer they give us an actual game that fit that bill, but considering they're busy prepping the NX system (or systems) for release, I think they can be forgiven.

Plus, the real-life pups seen in the latest trailer they created for Happy Home Designer are beyond adorable.

Speaking of that Animal Crossing spin-off, I've yet to even unwrap my copy of the game. Of course. How about all of you? Have any of you played it? If so, what do you think of it?

Tokyo Jungle's box art will be altered to feature a Rottweiler or Doberman if the game's actually brought to North America, won't it?

As much as the possibility mentioned in the header above depresses me, I may be able to forgive the graphic designers at SCEA that are sure to be responsible for such a travesty if they alter the title placement on said box art (to the right), too.

In case you've never heard of Tokyo Jungle, here's the scoop: It's a "survival action" game set in a deserted, futuristic Japan that's been transformed into a "vicious wildlife wasteland." Also, it was developed by the folks at PlayStation C.A.M.P. and Crispy's (nice name for the development studio, no?) and will be published by Sony Computer Entertainment.

Oh, and it will be released--in Japan only, for the time being--both digitally (via PSN) and physically on June 7.

Should Tokyo Jungle (here's a trailer for it, by the way) actually see the light of day in North America, I'll add it to my ever-growing list of awesome games I need to pick up once I finally get around to buying a PS3.

I don't suppose this Pomeranian-focused title appeals to any of you fine folks, does it?

More Dreamcast drawings

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I'm a big fan of alliteration.

More often than not, this, er, fascination shows up in the headlines that I write. Recently, though, it's also served as a source of inspiration for the doodles and drawings I create.

Case in point: "Diamonds are a Dreamcast's best friend," "PC Engine Punch-Out!!" and "Strawberry slime."

Another example for all of you fellow alliteration freaks is "Dizzy Dreamcast" (below).

I'm not sure what caused this poor Dreamcast to become dizzy, to tell you the truth. Maybe its owner dropped it, or dropped something on it?

Regardless, I'm sure he'll recover soon.

Anyway, "Dreamcast + dog" is another example of my alliteration fetish.

Again, I'm not sure why a cute little puppy has decided to park itself atop this Dreamcast. Hopefully it won't slobber too much while it's asleep up there.

Have I mentioned that I'm now posting my drawings to deviantart.com as well as to Flickr? Well, I am. If you're at all interested, you can check out the contents of my gallery here.
