Dear Harmonix: Please make a Lady Gaga version of this Dance Central ad for the US

Actually, I can't imagine enjoying a Lady Gaga version of the following ad even half as much as I enjoy the current, Kylie-fronted iteration, but Ms. Minogue probably isn't popular enough here in the States to make such an extravagant commercial worthwhile to the folks at Harmonix.

I'd ask for a Madonna version, but you know she'd never agree to such a thing. Even if she did, though, the folks behind the commercial surely would have to change up the story a bit, as La Ciccone would never allow herself to be locked in her dressing room like that.

Just Dance 2 it is

I know all of you have been waiting with bated breath to hear which game I bought my mom for Christmas. To tell you the truth, I wasn't sure until I visited amazon.com this morning--and saw that Just Dance 2 was on sale for $25.99.

I'm totally choosing the sailor when I play Just Dance 2.

I'm not entirely sure she'll like it, but I have a feeling she will. If she doesn't, I'll tell her to give it to me--and then I'll send her one of the other games I was considering (likely Boom Blox, Tetris Deluxe Party or Wii Sports Resort) in return.

Up, down, up, down, chu, chu, chu!

According to the crew at jeuxvideo24.com, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners can expect a "re-mastered" version of Sega's Space Channel 5 Part 2 to show up on PSN and XBLA sometime new year.

Why isn't the company starting with Ulala's first face-off with the Morolians? Well, unlike the ones that were featured in its fully polygonal sequel, the backgrounds in the original Space Channel 5 were made up of (poorly compressed) pre-rendered videos--which would have to be re-rendered if the game is to be properly displayed in 720p.

That said, Space Channel 5 Part 2 (watch the game's first "battle" here) is considered by many fans to be the better of the two Tetsuya Mizuguchi-developed games, so maybe it's best that the folks at Sega are concentrating on the sequel at the moment.
