Three days ago, fangamer finally opened up pre-orders for physical copies of Undertale's PC, PS4 and Vita ports.
Although the initial batch of Collector's Editions--going for $64 a pop--sold out yesterday, the site's now letting people pre-order CE copies that will ship in December. (The first run supposedly will be sent to eager buyers in late September.)
As much as I adore the Undertale Collector's Edition--which will contain a two-CD soundtrack of 100-plus songs, a booklet of sheet music, a gold-plated music-box locket, a matchbox-style box and a copy of the game--I no longer have the space for such bulky items. So, I went for the Undertale Standard Edition, which still looks pretty sweet and only set me back $25.
Have any of you pre-ordered one or more versions of Undertale's PC, PS4 or Vita ports via fangamer in recent days? If so, which did you buy?

You had me at 'EarthBound box set,' Fangamer
A couple of days ago, the folks at Fangamer launched a Kickstarter campaign for "a box set of media celebrating EarthBound and the fans who have kept it alive."
Backers who pledge $64 or more will receive the following from the Tucson, Arizona-based site should the campaign reach its $100,000 goal between now and when it concludes on Nov. 21:
* an EarthBound handbook of at least 250 pages in length,
* a documentary about EarthBound fandom in the west,
* an album of music pulled from the entire Mother series and performed by some group calling itself The Bad Dudes (listen to a sampler of it here), and
* an 80-page 'zine filled with fan-made art and stories. (The piece on the right, inspired by the series' "Eight Melodies," is one of the many submissions that have been made so far. See more at pkzine.tumblr.com.)
For more information on this particular Kickstarter campaign, check out its official project page at your earliest convenience.

I'd prefer this on a t-shirt, but I'll take it as a poster
The "this" mentioned in the header above is the PaRappa the Rapper-inspired illustration found below, by the way.
Oh, and the illustration in question was produced by artist Ashley Davis for the "Fangamer X Attract Mode Art Show" that took place during last year's PAX Prime.
If you're as big a PaRappa fan as I am (and, really, who isn't?) and you'd like to nab an 11-inch-by-17-inch giclee print like the one showcased in the photo above, head over to fangamer.net with 25 of your hard-earned bucks in tow at your earliest convenience.

The perfect gift for the Mother fan in your life
I've barely played the fan translation of Mother 3 thus far, but I've played enough of it to know that I want to play more of it--and that I want a copy of the awesome "Mother 3 Handbook" created by the folks at Fangamer.
Actually, the first edition of said handbook--all 240, full-color pages of it--was sold via Fangamer back in early 2009. As far as I'm aware, though, it quickly sold out and, as a result, many Mother 3 fans have been clamoring for a reprint ever since.
Well, it appears their wishes have been granted--and then some. Not only is it up for sale once again, but this version is some 30 pages longer than the original printing and is available in both hardcover and softcover formats. (The former will run you $29 plus shipping while the latter will run you $20.)
For more information on what's included in this 270-page guide, or to order one for the EarthBound/Mother fan in your life, go to handbook.fangamer.com.
