Yep, not only is it Thanksgiving here in the U.S., but it's my birthday, too.
Which is kind of weird, to be honest, but I've never been big on celebrating my birthday, so that's OK.
It's especially OK now that I've opened the presents my parents gave to me this morning, one of which contained the copy of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call that can be seen in the photo to the right.
I'm kind of surprised Amazon et al still had copies of this game's limited edition, to tell you the truth--not that I'm complaining!
Anyway, it's a pretty safe bet that I'll spend some quality time with it tomorrow--along with Fantasy Life and Solitiba, of course. (Yes, I'm still putting a ton of time into both, especially Fantasy Life.)
My parents also gave me a nice chunk of change, I have to add. Would it surprise you to hear I've already spent a portion of it on Japanese 3DS games?
Don't worry, I'll write about all of them here after they finally arrive on my doorstep (and after I've spent at least a little time with them).
In the meantime, I hope all of you have a wonderful Thursday--whether it's Thanksgiving in your neck of the woods or not.

Happy Birthday/Thanksgiving! I hope you enjoy your gifts and diner.
Also I checked amazon and it's actually cheaper to buy the Curtain Call limited edition than it is to buy the 1st Theatrythm.
Happy Brithday and Happy Thanksgiving, Bryan! I wish you much happiness and success! ;D
You have very nice parents, I must say! XD
Happy birthday, homes! Have a slice of cake, or pumpkin pie. Whatever floats your boat.
Thanks, Sam! I just finished eating and ... boy, am I stuffed XD
Also, I can't believe Curtain Call is just $19.99 right now! If I didn't already have a copy, I'd totally pounce on it at that price.
Thank you, Eduardo! And, yes, I do have nice parents :) Much happiness and success to you, too!
No cake, just pie this year. Which is OK. I mean, I love cake, but not so much that I needed some along with the pie this year :) Anyway, thank you, Jess!
Said it already, but I'll say it again! Happy Birthday! Since your bday falls on Thanksgiving I can honor the day you were born as well as give thanks to being able to call you my friend. That sounds a little cliche but I mean it!
Very cool that you got the LE for Curtain Call, and I see it's currently only $20 on Amazon! If you're not horribly busy, do you mind looking at how many songs are on the CD? Even though Shaun already has the game, I'm thinking of grabbing the LE for him for that CD...
Hello, Anne, and thanks again for the birthday wishes. I, too, and thankful for being able to call you my friend :)
As for the CD that comes with the LE, the info you found via Google is right--it contains just five songs, sadly enough :|
Happy Birthday fellow blogger, glad to hear you've received some splendid gaming related items, and I'm sure some splendid non-gaming related items too :)
Thanks, Simon! Actually, I didn't receive all that many "gifts," but that's par for the course in my family (now that I'm an adult). My parents tend to give us "kids" money and then one or two gifts alongside it/them. And other than that, the only other person in my life who gives me a b-day present is my sister-in-law. (David and I don't give each other gifts because we decided a number of years ago that we buy enough stuff for ourselves that we don't need to add to it by buying each other presents.) Which is OK with me, as, like I just said, I have enough "stuff." Warm birthday wishes from folks like you is more than enough for me, so thank you for sharing them :)
Happy birthday to you!
And that's a heck of a present :-) I trust you're enjoying it loads? :-)
Thank you, Matt! Sadly, I haven't started playing the game yet XD
I know I'm a little late, but Happy Birthday! May you continue to write about random Japanese games that I've never heard of before. You've introduced me to some great games.
It's never too late to wish someone a happy birthday, Will! Or at least that's my opinion on the subject :) Anyway, thank you! And of course I'm going to continue writing about random Japanese games. If not that, what else would I do? :P
