I actually have a lot to say about the wacky TV spot that can be enjoyed below (and here), but all of it was rather eloquently summed up by NeoGAF user Oersted when he/she said the following earlier today: "Pretty much the Nintendo I want. No acting tough and serious. We are colourful, suck it."
Will this commercial prompt hundreds of thousands--or more--of Japanese citizens to race out and pick up one of the new 3DS systems that will hit store shelves in that region in just over a week (on Oct. 11, to be exact)? I have no idea, but it certainly has me contemplating buying one ASAP.

I think they are *at times* but, yes, it would be nice to see the company be even more wild and wacky.
Can't fault you for that, Chief. I pretty much only like FF spin-offs these days myself. Haven't been interested in the mainline games since ... FFIX? Anyway, I really wish SE would make another FFT game soon -- and not for mobile!
Is that aimed at me, Chief or both of us, Terry? :P
I'm not sure why I've yet to play much of Disgaea, Chief. I mean, it's definitely "up my alley," as they say. I think it's because my PS2's usually packed away, and I'm too lazy to pull it out, even for an appealing game like Disgaea...
I want these outfits in Smash Bros.
You could always get them for Vita later.
Yeah I did that. Currently playing through Disgaea 4 Vita port and Akiba's Trip. Akiba's trip is quirky goodness.
Give me as many tactics/strategy games as can be made. I'll be terrible but, the fun begins at my first game over. :D
That would be great, wouldn't it? For some reason, though, I can't see Nintendo offering them :|
Yep, me too, Chief. I love tactics games!
The first Disgaea is available on Vita?
Ah, yes. I'm talking about the first Disgaea, though. I refuse to buy any Disgaea sequels until I at least *play* the one I already have :)
Also, glad to hear you're enjoying Akiba's Trip. I've read very mixed things about it.
