OK, so the name of this soon-to-be-released-in-Japan rhythm game is a bit weird. Who really cares, though, when said game uses an art style that's as awesome as this one does, right?
The crew that's making Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA clone, which will release in Japan on July 31, is being led by Senran Kagura producer Kenichiro Takaki, by the way.
I'm not entirely sure what that's going to mean in terms of the final product's gameplay or other content, to tell you the truth, but at the moment the game doesn't appear to feature Senran Kagura's giant, jiggling breasts so here's hoping it stays that way.

It looks neat and I'm glad to see more games like this coming to North America, but it's probably not for me. I'm terrible at rhythm games. I bought Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy out of love for the series music, but I'll never wow anyone with my scores.
ReplyDeleteDoes it matter if you'll never wow anyone with your scores, Terry? Or are you saying your lack of ability when it comes to this genre keeps you from really enjoy it, etc?
ReplyDeleteIf it's the latter, I understand completely the game not being for you. If it's just the former, though, who cares if you aren't awesome at these games? All that matters to me is if I enjoy them.
Anyway, I'm usually pretty good a rhythm games, but I have to admit this one (and the Miku games, too, I should add) looks pretty tough!
Ah, that's understandable, too. I have no idea if this game is likely to get a PS3 port, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteI would bet that it won't. If I ever get a Vita, I'll probably pick up the game then.
ReplyDeleteYeah, if this had come out earlier, I think a PS3 port would've been possible. Now that the PS4 is out, though...
ReplyDeleteOh, my scores aren't really important. I'm just not very good at those games and get frustrated. lol
ReplyDeleteAh, then I understand completely! Or at least I understand why you're really not that interested in picking up more of them.
ReplyDeleteThis isn't looking half bad! The Vocaloid IA isn't really the "jiggling breasts" type, so hopefully none will sneak in there ;) As long as the gameplay is good, I'll probably pick it up!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's good to hear! I think the Vita has enough games with jiggling breasts, to tell you the truth :)
