The Zelda elements all can be found within the giant Kirby, by the way. Some are images while others are text.

What a strange thing! I notice some Kirby words mixed in there too. Is the idea that he set out to draw Kirby but ended up drawing Zelda? Or is it the other way around?
Oh, I didn't realize some Kirby words were mixed in there, too. How weird--and interesting!
As for the intentions of the artist: sadly, I have no idea, Michael. Everything he's said about this piece on his blog relate to its size, the materials that were used to create it, etc.
