What has happened since then? For starters, Halloween happened.
Mayor Aino's favorite part of this spook-tacular holiday? Scaring the crap out of her neighbors--especially the ones who didn't vote for her during the last election.
Halloween wasn't the only cause for celebration in the last four or five weeks. Another: Snake's birthday on Nov. 3. Aino got him a treadmill as a joke, but Snake actually seemed to like it so she did her best to stifle her giggles after he opened it.
Aino and her fellow Animachians also celebrated the grand opening of Katrina's fortune teller shop earlier this month.
Sure, it could be a bit more visually appealing, but it still looks better than the defiled trash can that used to fill this empty alley.
Speaking of grand openings, Animachi recently welcomed the T&T Emporium to its main street, too.
The highlight of this gigantic, multi-floored store for Bryan: Gracie Grace's shop--despite the fact that its proprietress is a bit on the (strange and) snobbish side.
Although the fair citizens of Animachi said a good number of "hellos" in the last month or so, they also said a few "goodbyes." Case in point: Poppy decided to move to greener pastures shortly after Halloween. (Hopefully it wasn't because of that prank Bryan pulled on her?)
Oh, well, at least she sent Aino an adorable framed photo of herself on her way out of town.
Not wanting to be left out, Rizzo also mailed a photo of himself to Aino--although he's staying put for the time being. (Don't tell anyone, but Aino isn't entirely sure what she thinks of that last bit.)
Who moved in to fill the hole left by Poppy? Oh, just THE MOST HIDEOUS CREATURE TO EVER WALK THE FACE OF THE EARTH.
Yes, that's Paula (aka the most hideous creature to ever walk the face of the earth) in the screenshot above. And, yes, that's Aino watching with evil glee as Paula and her creepy blond hair (held in place by a butt-ugly headband) struggle to free themselves from a well-placed pitfall.
Hey, that's what you get when you traipse around town and say "yodelay" all day.
In less creepy, and more uplifting, news: Animachi's bulletin board was recently updated to warn citizens that the snowy season is on the way.
Although that caused a couple of villagers to fall into a deep depression, it had the opposite effect on new resident Arle, who whipped up the holiday-themed sweaters shown above shortly after she swept into town.
Look for QR codes for all of her designs to be shared here--as soon as that skank Sable allows Arle to use her sewing machine.

WOW it's been at least 22 weeks since New Leaf came out, it's doesn't feel like it's been out that long.
I hit the PWP limit this week so I tore down my 1st picnic basket that I was planing remove since I didn't like were I put it (right behind Re-Tail). I'll also probably take out my flower clock and tear down my tower and rebuild it were the clock was in a day or 2. I must of removed my default bridge since on the demolish list I counted 29 PWPs after subtracting the default bridge. Strangely enough Isabelle doesn't seem to inform you that you've hit the limit though I guess I could of missed her saying something about it. I also made 2,000,000+ bells last week. Half comes from turnips while the other half I got through selling island bugs and sharks to lazy campers through the "guess what fruit I want to eat" mini-game exploit.
I'm probably going to demolish one of my bridges tomorrow. Bud the Lion is moving in tomorrow, which is great... but he's building his house RIGHT ON ONE OF MY PATHS near the bridge. Ugh. I'm going to tear down the bridge and re-route that entire sidewalk. lol
Hey there, Sam! Actually, it's been out for more than 22 weeks, as it took a good number of weeks to reach my doorstep. (Three? Four? More? I can't remember...)
I've never heard of this mini-game exploit, by the way. Guess I have to hit the Google in the morning :)
Ah, that sucks, Terry! I have just two bridges in my alt town, and it's worked just fine so far. My real issue at the moment is in my main town--the presence of Katt and Paula are sucking my will to live ... or something like that. They must leave soon!
I meant to posts this in the last "Adventures in Animachi" but forgot too but I made one of my villagers catchphrase "in bed" basing it off of what I saw on tumblr. It's a shame I hit my photo limit with this pic because after that he said "And he sweats so much! I don't know if I could keep up with
him!".
Ha! That's cute, Sam. Thanks for sharing :)
Cutest sweaters ever. I don't know how I missed this post earlier, but I want that horrible monstrosity in my town. She's amazingly bad.
You want Paula, Justin? Or Katt? Either way, I'm going to do my best to get rid of both of them pronto. So, let me know if you have an opening in your town and I'll let you know when one or both of them finally decides to leave!
