If so, you might want to nab one of the Pikmin crochet patterns that are currently being sold (for $5 each, here) via Annie Johansson's (aka Liebe9's) etsy shop.
Here's what the final products look like, by the way. Aren't they adorable? I think I like the Dumbo-esque yellow Pikmin the best, although all three of them are so cute I could puke.
I don't know a "chain stitch" from a "single crochet," so I'd personally prefer it if Johansson sold completed crocheted Pikmin characters, but I can understand why she doesn't.
Johansson does sell "already made" Ocarina of Time amigurumis (for $35, buy one here), though, so if you just have to own some sort of game-related craft, they're probably your best bet for the time being.

Aaah, these are so cute! I am personally smitten with the blue one :).
Have you ever looked into the making of these types of things? I've looked through a few amigurumi books (I guess it's the latest crochet fad lol) and oh my goodness does it look difficult.
Yeah, they're all cute, IMO, so I can understand being smitten with the blue one, Marcus :)
As for looking into making these types of things: Nope, mainly because I don't know how to crochet or knit and I'm not particularly interested in learning how. I love that others can make them, though!
@marcus, it's not difficult at all! 10-year olds can do it. :) it's easier if you know someone who can teach you, or search for tutorials on youtube. Go go go! :)
Thanks for the encouragement, Ella! Hopefully Marcus will take it to heart and learn how to do it so he can make some Pikmin amigurumis -- and then show them to us :)
I want one of each...and a fat purple and a tiny white, too. I know tons of people who crochet...I might need to buy these patterns and get them to make them for me.
Oh, yes, Justin, purple and white ones are a must! Maybe Annie will update her patterns eventually to include them :)
