When I first saw the following commercial--which seemingly is being used to promote the Move-enabled PS3 version of Top Spin 4--I thought it was cheesy and tasteless.
Then I realized I would have reacted quite differently if it had featured, say, a shirtless Rafael Nadal or Fernando Verdasco rather than a Spandex-clad Serena Williams.

Agreed.
I still think it'd be pretty cheesy, just hotter :P.
However, this almost makes me feel like I should start voguing and dressing up for Move gameplay sessions.
Oh, it definitely would be hotter, IMO -- although I'm guessing some of the straight guys and bi/gay gals here may beg to differ :)
Also, I agree that this commercial makes me want to dress up for my next Wii Sports session, etc. I don't have any Spandex or leather, though, so maybe I'll just have to go with a tight tank top and some short shorts (oh, and knee-high socks!). Ha ha!

Haha, it's a bit stupid but sex sells and all that! She's pretty hot too, although there's a few I prefer :)
Yeah, sex does tend to sell, I'll give you that, Simon. I wonder if it'll work in this situation, though?
I really do think the folks at 2K Sports should make a follow-up with Nadal and Verdasco, though :)
