Would you spend more than two years of your life crafting every single Pikmin character (and plant) out of LEGO blocks? I sure as hell wouldn't, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the handiwork of someone who did.
The man responsible for the insanity displayed in the image above (here's a link to it on Flickr), by the way, is Filip Johannes Felberg. To see more of his creations (including some from Chibi-Robo), check out his Flickr photostream.

That is nothing short of obsessive. But...WOW! I'm way impressed! It makes me want to play Pikmin again. Hopefully they'll be making one for the 3DS...I jut reserved mine with Pilotwings.
It makes me want to play Pikmin again too. And, like you, play a new one. I was really hoping we'd see a new Pikmin on the Wii, but I guess that's not going to happen now. 3DS would be nice, too, as would a sequel on the Wii follow-up.
BTW, I'm completely envious of you and your soon-to-be-had 3DS and Pilotwings!
*insert cake-eating grin here* I'm so excited I could pee.
I'm excited for you! I wonder how long I'll be able to hold off on getting one myself...
Lol, wow.. he must have alot of time on his hands.. but still amazing..
Yes, I'm definitely guessing that's the case, John :P
